Summary of the Book
Sarada Devi, consort and foremost disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, was given the responsibility of carrying forward his spiritual mission. Sarada Devi’s experiences can be considered as an exemplification of life skills: communication, negotiation, interpersonal relations, stress, time, change, conflict and mind management, problem solving, decision making, goal setting, planning and executing. In her we find a wonderful resolution of many conflicts: her life and experiences anticipate the tenets of feminism which would take almost one more century after her advent to come to the Western consciousness. Sarada Devi’s life serves as a road map for everyone who seeks to lead a joyful and meaningful life.
