This book tells a true story of great determination, will power and self-belief, that helped a mother-daughter duo tread the path to achievement. This Mumbai family was like any other Indian family, caring for their two daughters and enjoying life. Destiny, however, had other plans; the husband passed away and one of the girls, blessed with good eyesight at birth, suddenly lost her eyesight due to some medical negligence. This, however, did not deter the family; they remained as one and strode over all difficulties to emerge a shining example of grit and courage. Inspiring to others and worthy of reading more than once, the author tells their incredible story in the form of anecdotes and conversations, making it more interesting and giving it an aura which makes readers empathize with this family.
