It is a fascinating story of rags to riches. It is also a story of a man who coped with the greatest sorrow-the sudden demise of his wife. If one has the will, desire and tenacity one can achieve anything in this world. Shri's memoir proves testimony to this. Shri spent his childhood in very difficult circumstances in Belgam, a small village in southern India. Growing up with a large family and very limited resources, Shri's family struggled to make ends meet.
Shri came to the US in late 70s for his higher studies. He completed his PhD, post-doctoral work and MBA. He bought his first company after working for a short time and went on to acquire several underperforming companies and turn them around and made them profitable. It is an inspiring story about realizing the 'American Dream'.
