गुढ, रहस्य लेखन प्रकारात आपला कायमचा ठसा उमटवणारे प्रसिद्ध लेखक नारायण धारप यांची ही थरारक कादंबरी आहे. पूर्ण चंद्राच्या रात्री, लख्ख चांदण्यामध्ये त्या गुढ व्यक्तीपासून कथेला प्रारंभ होतो. तो उभा होता, तिथे ती आली. तिच्या डोळ्यात बुबळे नव्हती, चंद्रप्रकाशात चकाकणारे डोळे होते. ती आपल्या हातून मेली असं त्याला वाटलं.
तिचं शरीर पुरायचं होतं.पण ते शरीर होतं कुठे? ते सापडेना. या कथेत सरदेशपांडे आहेत, गोसावी आहेत, चंद्रसाहेब आहेत, पोलीस-हवालदार आहेत, रात्र आहे, चंद्र आहे, आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक आहे ती गुढ रम्यता. ते गूढच कथेची उत्कंठता उत्तोरत्तर वाढवते.
खूपच रोमांचक पुस्तक!मी तरूणपणी जेंव्हा वाचलं होतं तेंव्हा बरेच दिवस चांदण्या रात्री बाहेर जाणं टाळत होतो,इतकी दहशत घेतली होती!मराठी भयकथामधील मैलाचा दगड!

I have already read this book. I think no writer in India can write like narayan dharap .This book is one of the most horror books of dharap

1. Jyat eka lahan balacha bhut dakhavalay n tyat Punarjanmavar pan barachasa kahi ahe..(mala nit story athavat nahi ata)
2. jyat ek tarun firta firta tyachya hi nakalat tyachya junya gavi yeto, tithe eka guruji/ Bramhanachya madatine tithlya eka gharat alelya Vampires cha naynat karto..

Nice and tidy story. Story is compact and book is small but its dynamite packed in small pack. Few of the events surly give a nightmare to readers. Very practical yet horrific story line, one should read this book in silent place to get the thriving experience if decided to read at night God Bless.

I don't think I've ever read such a thrilling book , such a nice story and the climax is to much hooooooorooooorrrrrrr, This is the best horror book and what can I say about Narayan Dharap?I am really very BIG FAN of him.He is BEST you know, BEST.
Read this book recently again. Had read it when it appeared in a magazine may be 40 years ago.
Still a very good read.

I HAVE READ ALL NARAYAN DHARAP'S BOOKS! ITS EXTREMLY THRILLED. ITS QUITE INTERESTING READ AT NIGHT....THEN WE CAN CATCH THAT SITUATION.....CHANDRACHI SAWALI..WOULD BE INCREASE THAT THRILL!!!!!!!!

No marathi bk which has taken the reader to such an extent of terror and real experiences. I have purchased its 2 prints bcoz I don't want to frustate in future by seeing it OUT OF STOCK!!
