Summary of the Book
The picture that emerges from the book is that of a sensitive, empathetic
man in tune with Nature (God) His writings speak of his intellectual honesty,
courage and caring.
Fascinating and revelling, lucid narration, with a touch of humour, which gives
an insight into the experiences of a versatile surgeon. It is spread with
philosophical comments which probe the depths of human life and human nature.
A surgeon is only a tool in the hands of God, the patient himself and the
technical armamentarium of surgical science.
The patient and surgeon, are joint partners in both the success and failure of
the surgeon.
