Dr Keshav Sathaye, a leading Media Practitioner from Pune, through his lucid writing style has beautifully captured the essence of this all invasive Media Power in his book “Broadcast Journalism and Digital Media.” The book meticulously provides wealth of information and great insight into this media craft for the students of Broadcast Journalism and Mass Communication. It will also mean a great reading for a layman who is interested to know “how media functions?” I have observed that a lot many secondary schools offer a month long course for their students on TV Journalism and Media. I am sure that they will also find Dr Sathaye’s book extremely useful in understanding the finer aspects and that too very methodically.
