The Truth has never been attained through seeking. But till today, it has been attained only by seekers.

Everyone knowingly or unknowingly is in quest of one face alone. This book is a guide of understanding of the seven stages that a seeker of Truth passes through before attaining the Truth. The stages viz. prayer, thirst and effort, attaining the Guru, recognizing the Guru, eligibility, pragya (understanding), and love have all been elaborately dealt with. At each stage the eyes of the reader are opened to a clearer understanding of the purpose of human life. How important is this quest to head in the right direction, is the focus of the book.

The sixth stage that of pragya (understanding), is a stage where all the paths that have been traversed till today to attain the Truth, converge. This stage is so deep that if one understands it, he is liberated from all dualities of joy and sorrow, heaven and hell, deeds and destiny, honor and insult, success and failure, birth and death. Only after attaining this stage does one realize that in reality there was no path to be traversed. We are standing at the destination itself.

This book is about understanding and propounds no path or methodology like chanting or penance, karma (deeds) or dharma (religion), mysticism or mantras, meditationandhellip; etc. as necessary to attain the Truth. It is from the perspective of understanding, where all these mentioned paths finally culminate, that the quest for the Truth, God, Selfandhellip; is put forth in this book.
