Parva is a modern adaptation of the very popular Indian epic, The Mahabharata; It is a masterpiece by S.L. Bhyrappa. This novel is an apt transmutation of the ancient epic narrative.
It does a great job in portraying the initial legend in detail, and giving it a new generation outlook. It is a tale of battle, affection, peace, death, human beings, as well as of God. The primary plot of this renowned tale has been the Bharata war. This novel portrays a very courageous yet unproductive endeavor to earn control over the ongoing divisions. In this book, the full incident is depicted keeping in mind the angle of the participants. It also opines on the various circumstances with regard to the visualization of Lord Krishna.
Dialogues, narration, and comments have been put to good use to add flavor to make the book engaging for the readers.
