Being interested in the Indian Classical Music and out of curiosity, I had visited the link and had gone through the contents.
My first impression is that this is an ambitious work, first in Marathi then in Hindi and now in English. All those who have worked for it must have a long stamina and a very strong willpower to collect all these details and bring it to readers in a proper form, and that too over last 37 years!
Congratulations to those who initiated this work and to those who brought it to papers!
I think that this is really a treasure. To be frank, although I like the Indian Classical Music, and had been a fan and admirer of the Great Bhimsen Joshi, I had no knowledge of the Ragas.As a rectification, I shall be purchasing the book one day to learn at least the basics of the Indian Classical Music, and to understand thoughts and philosophy of the Maestroes.
I wish this book a success in years to come.
